What is PUBG Weapon Stats for PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS?

Icon weapon Molotov

The following are the known statistics for all the weapons in PLAYERUKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS.

Note: Since Bluehole doesn’t release the official weapon values of guns, no website has 100% accurate statistics for weapons. Each website relies on hundreds of spreadsheets and each website has different numbers. Most websites recorded their data via private matches and some don’t include the feet/range. No one knows if the tests were consistent when recording the data. In short, no one has the exact numbers, but this data is close to the real values.

  • Q: What are statistics on par with the Xbox and Mobile versions?
A: The damage values are mostly the same across all platforms, but values based on recoil, etc are lower. Aiming is tough on console/mobile gaming so PUBG Corp made it easier for the player to control/aim the weapons by toning down some values.

Damage calculation

Right now, there is no “official” calculation for how damage is figured out in-game. The best the community has come up with is an approximation of damage based on the values that we have for armor, damage, range, etc. It seems like the damage is largely based on a calculation as us this:

( DAMAGE * (DAMAGE / RANGE) ) * ARMOR %

This is very, very rough however, and is definitely not set in stone. This equation roughly means that damage is a value of the DAMAGE times its relational amount between RANGE and DAMAGE, reducing damage as you get further away from the target, and then this value is multiplied by the ARMOR percentage, which reduces the damage taken dependent on what is being worn. This is not an official equation by any means, but it’s what the data seems to imply.

Body damage vs head damage

It seems that a far greater amount of damage is done to the head than is to the body. This might be because the head typically has less armor than the entire body, but may also be a mechanic to allow for headshots. Either way, in almost every case, a headshot is going to do more damage than a body shot, and skilled marksmen should aim here first.

What is PUBG The Playzone?

The Playzone

The Playzone, also known as “The Circle,” is the area where players must remain during the game.If outside of the playzone, players take damage. This forces players closer to each other as the game progresses in order to speed up the game.

All playzone / circle timings are for the PC version of the game.

Maps

Erangel

The time between entering the plane and being able to jump is about 10 seconds.

The time between entering the plane and seeing the first circle is 120 seconds (2 minutes).

Timings for each circle are below (circle size may be off by up to 10 meters).[1][2][3]

When the blue circle meets the final circle 8, 180 seconds (3 minutes) will pass before a 15 second countdown begins until the circle begins to shrink to nothing. Damage during the final phase of the circle shrinking to nothing is 11%.

As of 10/23/17, circle damage and survival times are not fixed, but variable based on distance. Circle got buffed and each circle after the first now does more damage the further outside the playzone you are.

Reviving Teammates

Circle 6-8, do not help your downed mates outside the play area.Circle 5, you can survive for 2 ticks after being helped up, so you’d have to be close to to entering the circle.Circle 4, you can survive for 5 seconds – the player helping you will take 10% damage while helping you.Circle 1-4, help your buddies.

Misc

Damage ticks are sent to every player at the same time. (The first tick can happen anywhere from 0-1.)Every circle ticks damage each second. There’s not a 9th circle, once the 8th circle hits the white circle – it simply pauses and then closes down completely. (Damage and everything is the same.)The 6th circle is the last circle where you can heal and run in.To win in the last circle if you can’t see the last enemy, take a hit of damage from the circle, and pre-use your med kit 2 seconds before the last circle hits you.

Trivia

  • In the Battle Royale movie, it’s a grid that seals off players. But in ARMA, PLAYERUNKNOWN couldn’t code a grid, so the ‘circle’ became the new Meta.[4]

CAUTION

If your computer does not meet the Minimum requirements specifications necessary to run this PC version, you may experience significant problems while playing the game.

Solution 1

Unreal Engine 4 is resource heavy. This means close down all programs (including web browsers) if you don’t have an above average PC.

Solution 4

Posted by Dayzru on [forums.playbattlegrounds.com]:

“Looks like the workaround with setting the CPU cores affinity does work for me.” Game ran smooth without any freezing for them as stated by Dayzru (on the BATTLEGROUNDS forums).

  • 1: Press ctrl+alt+delete (or right click on the taskbar)
  • 2: Open task manager
  • 3: Make sure game is running, not just launcher.
  • 4: Go to the tab “Processes” (for Windows 10 users, it’s under “Details”)
  • 5: Find the one (or two) called something like “PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS or BATTLEGROUNDS.”
  • 6: Right click that one
  • 7: Choose ‘Set Affinity’
  • 8: Uncheck CPU 3
  • 9: Press OK. The game will now be working.

What is PUBG How to Play Guide for PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS/vi?

Upsell

A big part of BATTLEGROUNDS is playing the map. Understanding the general concept of where people are likely to go, how to move silently, and so forth are key to your long-term survival.

What is PUBG Drop Zone Guide for PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS?

There are a variety of locations to drop into in PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Drop Zone Guide for PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS in detail

At the start of each round, players parachute into action, dropping into a map complete with weapons, buildings, and vehicles. Knowing where to drop is pretty important – not only because it informs your strategy for the rest of the game depending on the loadout you end up with, but on the first minutes of the game depending on who lands with you. Accordingly, this guide will help you figure out the best places to drop into, as well as the caveats each presents to the player.

Strategies

  • PUBG is a game about survival of the fittest. While this can mean the most aggressive player wins, it is by far not the average case. Knowing when to engage and when to lay low is key in having your first chicken dinner.
  • PUBG rewards an active playstyle. Just as much as being too aggressive will probably get you killed, being too passive will mean your opponents will have more and more of a tactical advantage through their gear.
  • Making use of the ingame sound can make all the difference. Knowing where shots are fired, where cars are driven and listening to that all too careless player stomping around in his punk boots all make for a great way to either engage on your terms, or make sure you dont engage at all.
  • Know your strengths and weaknesses. While most players would love to excel in every aspect of the game, every player has their own strengths and weaknesses. Be aware of what you are capable of and make sure the situations you get yourself in favor your strengths and avoid your weaknesses.
  • Make use of every distraction. Sometimes you are pinned behind cover with no way out or you know where an enemy is, but cant get close without them seeing you. In those cases, using grenades is not your only option. Make use of the red zone, of the impending blue circle, of nearby gunfire, your teammates or even the loud sound of the airplane to get out of a bad situation, or into a good situation. Oftentimes, your opponent wont be able to track your movement.

Playing solo

  • As a solo player, you will always have some blind spots. While some positions will allow you to make sure no one sneaks up to you, as soon as you are in the open field, you will often have to rely on knowing where other players are probably going to be. Always keep track of how far the blue circle is, where the new white circle is and how likely it is that someone is behind you
  • Since you have no team to rely on, a single unsuppressed shot, even if it kills someone, can lead to your death. Players around your position will have a vague idea where you are while you probably dont know where they are. It is rarely advised to kill someone while completely exposed, even if your target is “an easy kill”.

Playing duo/squad

  • When playing with a team, it is important to make sure all players have the same gameplan. Some players enjoy playing fast and ending rounds quickly, while others have a more tactical approach and aim for the endgame. If the team does not follow the same gameplan, the players will oftentimes not work as a team
  • When playing with a team, you can make sure all angles are secure at all times. This however requires communication. Make sure you use voice chat (or other methods of communication) to alert your teammates whenever something important is happening. Use the ingame compass (or notable site names) to inform your team where and what is happening.
  • An early death of a teammate does not automatically mean a round is lost and dying early yourself can be a great opportunity to learn from your teammates. If you are really not interested in watching the rest of the match when dead, maybe do something else until the match is finished. Ranting will only inhibit your team even further.

Sosnovka

  • OD
    OE

Map Section: DO and EO

Sosnovka is a military base in the south of Erangel. The base has a ton of equipment and weapons that can help you essentially immediately loadout, but this comes with a pretty significant caveat.

First and foremost, everyone goes to Sosnovka when they first start playing, which makes it a very threatening location to go to. Additionally, there are only three ways off the island – one of the two bridges or via the waterway. The waterway slows you down quite a bit, and the two bridges are often sniper nests, making it hard to survive on the island, and hard to get off.

That being said, if you can survive, Sosnovka has probably the best concentration of equipment and weapons on the entire map.

Schoolyard

MD

Map Section: DM

The schoolyard can be seen on the map as a large yellow square immediately south of Rozhok. The roof of the school nearby often spawns Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles, and the schoolyard has a decent amount of items hidden about. There’s a few smaller buildings around the schoolyard that have some equipment inside, but generally speaking, it’s somewhat hard to find vests and such.

Players don’t really drop here consistently, favoring larger cities and the military base. Because of this, it’s often easier to get a loadout here, even if the items on offer are more limited compared to those larger cities and locations. That being said, the area does fluctuate from “nobody” to “a handful”, so it might be somewhat dangerous depending on whether the set you’re playing with are aware of the location or not.

Mylta Power

MG

Map Section: GM

Mylta Power is a great location as it has roughly the same concentration of weapons and equipment as the military base with less average players going for it. There’s quite a bit of travel between Myalta and the rest of the map, so many people avoid it to not die from the constricting map.

You’ll have a rough time finding vehicles near or at Mylta Power, though, so you have about a minute to find your gear and start running. If you do find a vehicle west of Mylta Power, though, it might be worth returning, grabbing some stuff, and then getting out of dodge.

Georgopol

    KC

Map Section: BK and CK

Georgopol is a mixed bag in that it has the highest concentration of the widest variety of weapons and equipment, but is often populated by a crazy amount of players. This is a trade off, of course – if you survive, there’s plenty of bodies left over with a ton of weapons and gear, so you don’t really have to hunt for anything.

Additionally, cars are very common on the streets, so as soon as you get what you need, you can get away fast.

Spawn settings

  1. Adjust item spawn ratio and the total spawn amount of all items. There’s three overarching options here which we can explain quickly:
    1. “Fixed Ratio & Adjustable Total Number” means that when you adjust the multiplier for any given item, it only affects the spawn rate of that item.
    2. “Adjustable Ratio & Fixed Total Number” means that the overall number of items spawned will be the same no matter what. So when you adjust the multiplier for any given item, it affects how often it spawns relative to other items.
    3. “Adjustable Ratio & Adjustable Total Number” allows you to adjust the overall spawn rate for all items while also adjusting the relative spawn rate of items within that pool.
  2. Adjust spawn rates for specific items. For each item category (like “Ammunitions” or “Weapons”) you can also adjust the overall spawn rate for that type of item. Setting “Ammunitions” to 0 means that no ammunition of any type will spawn.
Normal Mode-Spawn-settings
  1. Adjust spawn rate of land-based vehicles, compared to normal settings.
  2. Adjust spawn rate of water-based vehicles, compared to normal settings.
