What is PUBG Micro UZI?

Note: Statistics pulled from http://battlegrounds.party/weapons

The Micro UZI is a submachine gun type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS. A scaled down version of the original Israeli submachine gun designed by Major Uziel Gal in the early 1950s, first introduced in 1986 and exported to over 90 countries, it still sees active use in various conflicts around the world.[1][2][3] The Micro Uzi has had its stock removed, the magazine shortened, and the barrel reduced to almost pistol length. This results in a more compact, lightweight weapon, with a reduction in accuracy and range.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Micro UZI in detail

This weapon excels at taking out enemies right after landing from the plane, while everyone is still focused on finding gear. Its high rate of fire also makes it an excellent room clearer, although this also makes it uncontrollable at longer ranges.

Since the weapon deals the least damage out of all the SMGs, using this weapon during mid- to end-games is usually not recommended because most players will be equipped with better armor and guns. When fully modded with extended mags, a stock and a compensator, this gun becomes quite controllable and can be surprisingly viable in the final stages of the game, although the extremely high rate of fire will burn through ammo quickly if many shots miss.

Trivia

In the game, the unmodified Uzi is actually the Pistol variant of the Uzi until the stock is added, turning it into a proper Micro Uzi.

The Mini Uzi and Micro Uzi both use a shorter 20-round magazine. Available extended magazines include 40, and 50-round magazines. Other high-capacity aftermarket magazines exist such as the Vector Arms 70-round and Beta Company 100-round Drum magazine.
